Welcome to my Studio

Photography for me is more avocation than profession. That doesn't mean I don’t strive to produce professional quality work. But I seldom take on projects where someone else defines what the final product will be or sets a deadlines for completion. That’s possible because I don’t work out of a brick and mortar storefront with the expenses of rent, utilities, insurance, and that sort of thing.

Instead, I work from home (how very convenient for commuting) having set aside the entire lower level as a professionally equipped photo studio (with just a small carve-out for my music corner for when the band gets together).

It’s both spacious and cozy – a place where we have flexibility to work at a leisurely pace and time to let imagination become part of the creative process. There’s a nice sitting area where we can discuss the session plan while enjoying your favorite Alexa playlist, style your hair, apply make-up, try on a new outfit and new poses. Bring your favorite outfits. And maybe pick through my collection of odd or outrageously stylish and vintage dresses, hats, shoes, accessories. Mix and match to create a totally original look. If it’s not fun it’s not my studio!

It’s been said a picture is worth a thousand words, so here’s the picture. I think you’re going to like this place!
